Fariborz Damanpour is Research Professor of Innovation Management at the Rutgers Business School. His research focuses on the management of innovation and technology. He studies antecedents, processes, and consequences of innovation in organizations. Damanpour’s articles have been published in leading academic journals in organization management, public administration, and technology management. His current research projects include the cycle of adoption of innovation, dynamics of internal and external sources for innovating, and evolution of organizational innovation. Prof. Damanpour taught Ph.D. courses on innovation and technology management and organization structure and processes, and Executive MBA and MBA courses on strategic transformation, organization management and leadership, and innovation management. Currently he conducts research workshops and teaches seminars on management of innovation in organizations. Prior to entering academia, he worked as an engineer, manager, and management system developer.
